Saltburn Viaduct
Scaffold Access with RMD Brackets

RDG provided tender designs for the restoration of the grade II listed 19th century Saltburn Viaduct. The design consisted of independent access around each pier and to the facades of the bridge parapet, bridged access between each pier to provide access underneath each archway and a protection deck that enabled the public walkthrough to remain open. In some areas, the scaffold could not be ground founded due to the ground profile and watercourse. Base pads and a bespoke RMD bracket was designed to provide the necessary support.
